The Belize General Elections application has been developed to present historical and current information on the Belize electoral process from independence (1981) to date. The data being used in these applications are from the Elections & Boundaries department. These include polling areas, election results by constituencies and registered voters.
Constituencies that are greyed out were nonexistent. The number of constituencies have increased by three since 1984:
1984 and 1989 had 28
1993 to 2008 had 29
2012 and 2015 have 31 constituencies
For the first three elections years, the rejected votes were not provided.
For the first five elections, no gender distributions for registered voters were provided.
To compare two election years. First select a year from the navigation bar at the top left, then go to the navigation bar at the top right to select the second year.
